Certainty is the enemy of the truth.

The fundamental problem I have with religion is not its content but its epistemology. Unjustified belief will never sit well.

If the atheist leaves no room for any doubt in his own position, he has committed the same epistemological error as religious believers.

No matter how strong our priors, we can only ever get better approximations of ground truth. We can never reach it.

Thinking you have removed all doubt is a sure way to begin to lead yourself astray from the road to real knowledge.
